THE PANDA PAW STORY
Panda Paw blossomed from a seedling into a thriving ecosystem.. a vision to replenish the world with the vibrant spirit of jungle animals and the awesome power of nature. With inspiration drawn from patterns found in nature, the designs began to manifest into Panda Paw eco-tees!
The idea started to grow as founder and psych-pop musician HAAS was finishing up mixing and mastering his debut album Lotus in the Mud over the summer of 2021. Looking for new ways to relieve stress, focus and engage the imagination, HAAS stumbled upon a unique style of illustration called zentangle, combining structured patterns of lines, dots and curves to create beautiful organic images.
Combining zentangle, sacred geometry and Amazonian Shamanic artwork, a new style of psyche-pop art began to emerge that complemented the music.
The unique hand drawn artwork delivers an uplifting message drawing on the temperaments of animals. Fused with soothing natural color pallets and new levels of psychedelic expression, each design is exclusive to our shop.

What is Zentangle?
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns of lines, dots and curves to create stunning organic images. It was invented by a monk named Rick Roberts and artist Maria Thomas. Engaging in Zentangle can relieve stress, improve focus and engage the imagination.
WHAT IS SACRED GEOMETRY?
Sacred geometry is the language of mathematics expressed in geometric patterns. These invisible patterns express themselves as recurring templates that make up the visible world around us. It is so inherent in things of natural beauty that the eye naturally gravitates to and has an affinity for this geometric code. It’s no wonder that master architects and painters in history used sacred geometry as a template for their great works.
WHAT IS SHAMANIC ART?
Shamanic artwork hearkens back to cave paintings dating back tens of thousands of years. The spiritual leaders would transcribe with paint the experience they had while on a vision quest. As the tools and method of art got more sophisticated over time, the experience of these spiritual quests remained the same. The purpose of the paintings was to communicate messages of healing and inspiration. The painting to the right is by Peruvian artist Pablo Amaringo.
